Brinton Woods Health & Rehabilitation Center of Pikesville, conveniently located in Baltimore County, provides short-term inpatient rehab services, skilled nursing care, and long term care services to our residents. The facility became part of the Brinton Woods family in July of 2017 and has allowed us to expand our network and offer locations convenient for more families and residents.

We are currently recruiting for an RN Unit Manager position.

 

Status: Full Time (8am to 4:30pm)

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating and directing the day-to-day operations of the unit.
  • Delegate to the Charge Nurses and GNAs the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary to perform assigned duties.
  • Review charts and documentation to ensure quality, accuracy and proper follow through.
  • Make rounds to ensure that personnel are performing their work assignments in accordance with acceptable standards.
  • Assist in determining and ensuring staffing needs/coverage on the unit.
  • Make written and oral reports/recommendations to the Director as necessary/required concerning the operation of the unit and to ensure the continuity of the patient’s total regimen of care.
  • Participate in quality assurance programs, at risk meetings and care plan meetings.
  • Support needs of the facility to ensure quality operations.

Position Qualifications:

  • Current RN licensure in Maryland
  • Previous LTC experienced
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Computer literate including Point Click Care
  • Team player able to take charge and lead by example
  • Ability to collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to assess and determine the best options to meet our residents’ needs
