Brinton Woods Post Acute Care Center, located in Northeast Baltimore City, provides skilled nursing care, short-term rehabilitation services, and long term care services. At 225 beds, this is Brinton Woods’ largest and most clinically advanced facility offering high quality complex services to our residents.

We are currently accepting applications for a full time Floor Tech for our Environmental team.  We are looking for a candidate who has an outstanding work ethic. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to being part of a team and will maintain a clean and sanitary environment.  If you believe you possess the skills needed you should join our team.

Status: Full Time

Hours/Shifts: Mon-Fri (Evenings/Days)

Job Duties:

  • Maintain the facility floors and carpets in a safe, clean, sanitary, and attractive manner.
  • Clean resident rooms and other interior and exterior facility areas under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor/Department Head.
  • Keep floors and carpets sanitary and properly cared for by buffing, stripping, waxing, scrubbing, finishing and extracting as needed/scheduled.
  • Maintain/use equipment and supplies properly, reporting any defects/repairs needed immediately.
  • Follow cleaning schedules as outlined in housekeeping and infection control policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a floor technician preferred
  • Long Term Care experience preferred
  • Energetic and Team Player
  • Superior customer service skills
