Brinton Woods Post Acute Care Center, located in Northeast Baltimore City, provides skilled nursing care, short-term rehabilitation services, and long term care services. At 225 beds, this is Brinton Woods’ largest and most clinically advanced facility offering high quality complex services to our residents.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Environmental Services Supervisor to oversee our housekeeping and laundry departments in the facility. This position will report to the facility EVS Director. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience working in healthcare environments with strong supervisory skills. In this role you will be expected to oversee the cleanliness and appearance of all facility areas including patient rooms, restrooms, common areas, employee work areas, and offices. This position also manages the laundry requirements for all residents including linens, towels and personal items.

Status: Part Time & Full Time Available

Shift: Varying shifts (alternating weekends)

Job Requirements:

  • Healthcare experience essential
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a healthcare facility
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills

Duties:

  • Manage the housekeeping and laundry functions for the facility on a daily basis
  • Support the facility EVS Director to oversee staff in the facility
  • Maintain and adhere to company infection and quality control standards
  • Ennsure compliance with local and federal regulations
  • Supervise and manage environmental services staff
