AHCA/NCAL Silver Achievement in Quality Award for 2017

BRINTON WOODS POST ACUTE CARE CENTERis proud to announce that we have been awarded the AHCA/NCAL Silver Achievement in Quality Award for 2017.

The American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) represent more than 12,000 non-profit and proprietary skilled nursing centers, assisted living communities, sub-acute centers and homes for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The Association’s Quality Award program challenges member providers to achieve performance excellence through three progressive levels – Bronze, Silver, and Gold.

The Silver Award, one of three distinctions possible through the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program, recognizes providers across the nation that have demonstrated their commitment to improving quality of care for residents and patients in long term care and post acute care centers and communities. Members at this level develop and demonstrate effective approaches that help improve performance and quality outcomes.

Silver Award applicants must provide an extensive assessment of their systematic approaches, performance measures, and sustainable organizational and process results that are linked to customer requirements, success factors, and challenges previously identified through the achievement of earning the Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award.

Brinton Woods Post Acute Care Center is one of 191 skilled nursing care centers and assisted living communities in 43 states to receive this prestigious award, one of only 5 facilities in the State of Maryland.

This year’s Silver Award recipients can now advance in developing approaches that meet the criteria required for the Gold – Excellence in Quality Award.
